<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resol ut I on No. 85-29 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING IMPROVEMENT TO <br />THE INTERSECTION OF HODGSON ROAD AT <br />THE ENTRANCE TO CHIPPEWA MIDDLE SCHOOL <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 24, 1985, a third grader was Involved <br />In an accident whl Ie crossing Hodgson Road at the entrance to <br />Chippewa Middle School, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Is another Incident In the history of <br />problems at this Intersection, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the amount of traffic using Hodgson Road <br />which, due to the building and development In the northern part <br />of Ramsey County and southern Anoka County, will Increase the <br />volume even further, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chippewa Middle School Is used most exten- <br />sively for school programs and City athletic programs through- <br />out the year, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills <br />C~ty Councl I supports Improvement of the access to Chippewa <br />Middle School and encourages the School Board of Independent <br />School District 621 to review the situation and to cooperate <br />with the governmental Jurisdictions Involved, In order to <br />provide a safe access for all residents. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of July, 1985. <br /> <br />~~ <br />obert L.
