<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 85-22 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR LAKE RECLASSIFICATION AND <br />MODIFICATION TO SHORELAND MANAGEMENT <br />REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources <br /><DNR) has evaluated the lakes In Arden Hills and assigned <br />preliminary classifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the DNR has requested the City of Arden <br />Hills <CITY) to review and respond to these classifications <br />and the development controls which accompany them; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has completed such a review and <br />has determined that certain classifications and the accomp~ny- <br />Ing development controls do not coincide with the City's <br />evaluation of existing and future shoreland development; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City believes that the intent of the <br />shoreland management requirements can be accomplished within <br />the community, even if certain development controls are <br />modified to reduce the administrative complexity, the number <br />of non-conformities created on existing development, and the <br />potential adverse effect upon undeveloped parcels; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of <br />Arden Hills submits documentation In support of and requests <br />DNR approval of certain modifications to the lake classifica- <br />tions and shore land development controls, as contained In <br />the attached document. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hill s Council th I s 13th day <br />of May, 1985. <br /> <br />R~)~ <br /> <br />Robert L.
