<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85-21 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE LAST SATURDAY IN APRIL <br />AS ARBOR DAY AND MAY AS ARBOR MONTH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden. Hills is committed to enhancing the <br /> <br />beauty of the city, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Arden Hills have been assisting the Arden <br /> <br />Hills Parks Committee in planting trees in City parks for several years, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Arden Hills planted trees in Cummings <br /> <br />Park, Hazelnut Park, and Arden Oaks Park on April 27, 1985, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arbor Day is a time to appreciate the contributions made <br /> <br />by shade trees to our city and to undertake a coordinated and cooperative <br /> <br />effort to increase the shade tree population within our City parks. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills City Council <br /> <br />hereby proclaims the last Saturday in April as "Arbor Day", and the month <br /> <br />of Mayas "Arbor Month". <br /> <br />.
