<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 85-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE <br />CONTROL DATA BUSINESS ADVISORS, INC. JOINT <br />COMPARABLE WORTH STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 471.991 enacted in 1984 requires all <br />political subdivision in the State to establish equitable compensation <br />relationships among its employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management Association, the Coalition <br />of Outs tate Cities, the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association and other <br />related public jurisdictions desire to meet the requirements of the law <br />through a joint job evaluation study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management Association in consultation <br />with representatives of outs tate cities and after meeting and conferring with <br />representatives of organized labor screened and selected Control Data Business <br />Advisors, Inc. as the consultant to perform the study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the study is to be divided among the participating <br />jurisdictions in the following manner: Each entity will pay a base charge of <br />Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) and a charge per employee of Thirty-Five <br />Dollars ($35.00) per person. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills that it hereby approves participation of the City in the Joint Comparable <br />Worth Study to be conducted by Control Data Business Advisors, Inc. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $3,525.00 based on the above <br />specified formula be transmitted to the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota which <br />City has offered to serve as the fiscal agent and contractor for the duration <br />of the study. <br /> <br />Dated this 15th day of January, 1985. <br /> <br />t:~~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CtiA/~~~~ <br />Charlotte McNiesh -- <br />Clerk Administrator <br />
