<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-66 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE LAST SATURDAY IN APRIL <br />AS ARBOR DAY AND MAY AS ARBOR MONTH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Arden Hills is committee to enhancing the <br />beauty of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Arden Hills have been assisting the <br />Arden Hills Park Committee in planting trees in city parks for <br />several years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Arden Hills planted trees in Royal <br />Hills, Flora, Hazelnut, Perry Park and Chatham Open Space on <br />April 24, 1993; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arbor Day is a time to appreciate the contributions made <br />by shade trees to our City and to undertake a coordinated and <br />cooperative effort to increase the shade tree population with in <br />our City parks. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills city Council <br />hereby proclaimed the last Saturday in April as "Arbor Day", and <br />the month of Mayas "Arbor Month". <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Arden Hills City Council urges <br />the pUblic-spirited and foresighted citizens of Arden Hills to <br />assist in the planting of trees for the enjoyment and pleasure of <br />future generations. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Arden Hills city Council this 13th day of <br />December, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />S <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />" <br />// <br />.// ~'.-;:,:' <br />/"1-' I <br />Dorothy A. <br /> <br />,-" <br />i <br />i <br />".:'<< -- -.',' ." <br />//., , ,.' <br />city Ad;i~'istrator <br /> <br />, .'~-' - ./, <br />>;.,~ (~1!:~/ /" . <br />Persoj:f; <br />I <br />/ <br />
