<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-60 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PRELIMINARY <br />FEASIBILITY REPORT IN THE MATTER OF <br />1993/1994 STORM WATER MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city has implemented a storm Water Management Plan <br />that will assist with identifying storm water <br />improvements and maintenance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that the storm water utility <br />fees collected will be used to fund storm water <br />related costs which have accrued during 1992 and 1993; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a reserve account will be established to fund future <br />large scale storm water projects by escrowing <br />approximately 20% to 30% of the annual storm water <br />utility fees collected; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it should consider <br />improving certain property by reviewing a 1993 and <br />1994 storm Water Management Plan; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 1994 storm Water Management Plan has identified <br />two improvement projects, one at Perry Park and the <br />second consists of replacing an existing storm sewer <br />system that drains water from the pond located between <br />Valentine Crest Road and County Road F to Valentine <br />Lake; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council must first secure a feasibility study in <br />order to consider making the improvement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City <br />of Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br /> <br />This matter shall be referred to Maier stewart and <br />Associates, Inc. who is requested to provide to the city <br />Council a report advising, in a preliminary manner, whether <br />the proposed improvements are feasible and whether the <br />improvements should thus be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvements and the estimated <br />cost of the improvements as recommended. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL~F HE CITI:ZLDEN <br />HILLS THIS 8TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1993. - <br />I '1rnr....
