<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-54 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF THE <br />NEW BRIGHTON CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />TO HOLD THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS' <br />CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city has experienced a serious shortage of space <br />for staff, files, records and public meetings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this space shortage has caused the City to commence <br />planning for a site acquisition and the construction <br />for new City Hall and Public Works buildings, which <br />process may not be finalized for approximately 2+ <br />years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city has investigated optional public and private <br />locations within the City limits in which to hold <br />meetings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these locations are unacceptable due to capacity; <br />scheduling difficulties; handicap accessibility; <br />parking availability; and/or lack of public cable <br />access; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city <br />of Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and City council approves the temporary use of <br />the New Brighton city council Chambers for City council and <br />Planning commission meetings beginning in November 1993. <br /> <br />2. That the City of Arden Hills has notified the public of <br />this change through a legal notice placed in the New <br />Brighton Bulletin, the official newspaper on October 6 and <br />October 20, 1993, and as a general block ad in the New <br />Brighton Bulletin and the Focus of Lillie Suburban <br />Newspaper on October 27, 1993. <br /> <br />3. That the City of Arden Hills will continue to abide by <br />Minnesota Statutes in advising the public of the correct <br />location of city council and Planning Commission meetings, <br />and will post such changes on the entrance of the current <br />city Hall facility. <br /> <br />4.
