<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-52 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />"MANUFACTURERS' WEEK" <br /> <br />OCTOBER 18 22 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, manufacturing employes one out of every five off-farm <br />workers in Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, manufacturing has the largest total payroll of any <br />sector in Minnesota, and the second highest average <br />wage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, manufacturing produces $19.8 billion for Minnesota's <br />economy, the largest single share of our gross state <br />product; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, manufacturing exports brought nearly $6.7 billion into <br />the state in 1992, far outstripping any of Minnesota's <br />other sectors, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills does <br />hereby publicly declare its thanks and appreciation to all Arden <br />Hills area manufacturers and their employees for the <br />contributions they make to our state and community. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills declares <br />that all of its members in good standing do hereby proclaim the <br />week of October 18 through 22, 1993 to be Manufacturers' Week in <br />Arden Hills. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br />HILLS THIS 12TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1993. <br /> <br />THOMAS R.
