<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY CXlUNl'Y, MINNmOrA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTI~ ro. 93-45 <br />RESOLUTI~ RE\ItllO:m LIQUCR LICENSE ro. 5 ISSUED <br />ro CIIl\RLIE CHtJN3, ~. <br /> <br />WHERElIS, on the 25th day of January, 1993, the city of Arden Hills <br />issued an intoxicating on-sale liquor license to Charlie Chung, Inc. <br />d/b/a/ the Great Lake Restaurant which was located at 1310 West County <br />Road E in the city of Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHERElIS, Arden Hills city Code Section 3-45 requires that certain liquor <br />license fees be paid as a corrlition of licensing; and <br /> <br />WHEREl\S, Cllarlie Chung, Inc. was notified by co=espondence dated the <br />3rd day of August, 1993, that its liquor license fees for the secorrl and <br />third. quarters of 1993 had not been paid; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHERElIS, Charlie Chung, Inc. was notified by =esporrlence dated the <br />14th day of September, 1993, that the City council would conduct a <br />hearing on the 27th day of September, 1993, in order to consider the <br />rev=ation of the Charlie Chung, Inc. liquor licenses due to nonpayment <br />of license fees; and <br /> <br />WHERElIS, the city Council corrlucted a public hearing on the 27th day of <br />September, 1993, and received carmnent from all those who appeared and <br />wished to speak in regard to the licenses issued to Charlie Chung, Inc.; <br />and <br /> <br />WHERElIS, the City Council has determined that Charlie Chung, Inc. has <br />not paid the follO\\1ing applicable liquor license fees: <br /> <br />a. Quarterly license fee in the amount of $1,100.00 payable on <br />or before the 31st day of March, 1993. <br /> <br />b. Quarterly license fee in the amount of $1,100.00 payable on <br />or bef=e the 30th day of June, 1993. <br /> <br />!Qq, 'l'HElREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills city Council hereby <br />revokes License No.5 issued to Charlie Chung, Inc. on the 27th day of <br />September, 1993; and <br /> <br />BE IT FtlRTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby directed to <br />notify Western SUrety Company that the corrlitions attached to SUrety <br />Borrl No. 41790390 have been violated and that the proceeds of the borrl <br />shall be subnitted to the city of Arden Hills for payment of delinquent <br />liquor license fees including such penalties or other charges as may be <br />provided f= by applicable laws. <br /> <br />P1\SSED AND AiAw'~'J:il) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />27TH Ill\.Y OF SEPrEJmER, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ATI'EST: <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ty Administrator <br />
