<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-27 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF 1993 <br />PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 93-18, competitive bids were <br />solicited and received for the 1993 Pavement <br />Maintenance Improvement as set forth in the bid <br />tabulation attached thereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the amount of the bids <br />and the responsibility of the bidders and determined <br />that T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc., is the lowest <br />responsible bidder; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following list of contractors and their bids were <br />received by the city of Arden Hills on April 6, 1993: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />T.A. Miller, Inc. <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br />Ashbach Construction, Inc. <br />Driveway Design, Inc. <br /> <br />$213,131.20 <br />214,918.95 <br />217,238.25 <br />217,766.70 <br />228,794.10 <br />229,503.90 <br />236,249.80 <br />243,927.95 <br />248,942.60 <br />258,401.20 <br />258,960.40 <br />264,583.65 <br />292,536.50 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the city <br />of Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and city Administrator are authorized and <br />directed to execute, on behalf of the City, such contract <br />with T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc., as is approved by the city <br />Attorney for the completion of the 1993 Pavement <br />Maintenance Improvement according to the approved plans and <br />specifications designated in Resolution 93-18. <br /> <br />2. The city Administrator is authorized and directed to <br />forthwith return to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids upon execution of the contract above specified. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />HILLS THIS 12TH DAY OF APRIL, 1993. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br />DOROTHY A.
