<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESarA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 93 - 25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DElERMlNING ASSESSED COST OF <br />IMPROVEMENT, ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />AND SETTING THE ASSESSMENT HEARING DAlE IN THE MATTER OF <br />TIiE 1993 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />costs have been determined for the 1993 Pavement Maintenance Improvement <br />consisting of a contract price of $213,131.20 and expenses incurred or to be incurred <br />by the City in the making of the improvement in the amount of $44,437.00 for a total <br />cost of the improvement of $257,568.20. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1 , Based upon the City Assessment Policies, it is detennined that the portion of this improvement to <br />be paid by the City and not assessed to benefitted properties is $136,878.20. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2, The portion of the cost to be assessed against benefitted properties pursuant to the City of Arden <br />Hills Assessment Policies shall be $120,690,00, <br /> <br />3, The assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments and shall extend over a period of three ' <br />years for assessments less than $500 and five years for assessments equal to or greater than $500; <br />the first of the installments to be payable on or before December 31, 1993, with interest at the rate <br />of 8.00% per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution, <br /> <br />4. The City Administrator with the assistance of the Project Engineer shall forthwith calculate the <br />proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece, <br />or parcel of land, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall have available to <br />the City Administrator's office a copy of the proposed assessment roll for public inspection. <br /> <br />5. An assessment hearing shall be held before the City Council on the proposed assessments on the <br />10th day of May, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m, at Arden Hills City Hall. <br /> <br />6, The City Administrator shall provide ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the <br />assessment hearing as required by law. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of April, 1993, <br />/' <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />/!l,:r;~)l:C&Ed A-:c-tU"--- <br />.
