<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-13 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RE: JOINT PUBLIC FACILITIES THAT WOULD BE SHARED WITH <br />THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, RAMSEY COUNTY, THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AND OTHER PUBLIC AGENCIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has a need for space for <br />the effective provision of public service to the citizens of the City; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey has indicated a need for <br />additional space for its services; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, several state agencies including the Department of <br />Transportation and Department of Natural Resources have additional need for <br />a metropolitan location for their public services; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all of these parties are actively pursuing a <br />cooperative use of space among public entities which provides that these <br />sites continue in public use; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the City limits of Arden Hills are parcels <br />of land within the limits of Twin cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) <br />which are identified as potential sites to address the above noted issu(s; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City requests <br />.ongressional support to provide that these affected lands be made <br />'vailable and designating the City of Arden Hills as the lead agency for <br />public uses that will include the City of Arden Hills, Ramsey County, the <br />state of Minnesota and other public uses and agencies. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Arden Hills <br />supports the County of Ramsey's action in addressing this issue to the <br />congressional delegation. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills City~ouncil this 22nd day of <br />February, 1993. <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />~;--'---~~?,l'l-}:{l-' 7::::>~:'(..i.~ cr-',:(.o---~-~- <br />Thomas R: 'sather, Mayor <br /> <br />Doro <br />City <br /> <br /> <br />1-- <br /> <br />. <br />
