<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING DANIEL A. WINKEL <br />FOR 6 YEARS SERVICE AS FIRE CHIEF OF <br />THE LAKE JOHANNA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dan Winkel has served the community of Arden Hills as <br />Fire Chief of the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department for the <br />past 6 years, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during Dan's tenure as Fire Chief, he was instrumental <br />in completing the construction of two new fire stations and <br />recruitment of volunteer firefighters necessary to man these <br />stations, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, also during Dan's service as Fire Chief, new equipment <br />was purchased which reduced property losses from fire damage and <br />provided the tools necessary for the volunteer firefighters to <br />effectively perform their duties, and; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the direction of Chief Winkel a new level of <br />communication and cooperation between the Fire Department and the <br />member cities was achieved, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arden Hills city Council <br />on behalf of all residents extends sincere appreciation and <br />commends Dan Winkel for this faithful and dedicated service to <br />the community as Fire Chief of the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire <br />Department. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />THIS 30TH DAY OF MARCH, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />j <br />THOMAS R.
