<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-40 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION HONORING ROBERT O. ASHBACH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert O. Ashbach, 40 year resident of Arden Hills, <br />was appointed Trustee of the vill3ge on December 10, 1953; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach resigned as Trustee on March 30, 1954, to <br />fill out the unexpired term of Mayor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert Ashbach served as Mayor of Arden Hills from <br />December 6, 1955 to December 27, 1962; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach served in the Minnesota House from 1962 <br />to 1966, and in the Senate from 1967 to 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bob's service to the State of Minnesota, city of <br />Arden Hills and its residents were characterized by fairness, <br />careful consideration of all issues and openness which earned <br />the respect of residents and staff equally. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arden Hills city <br />Council, on behalf of itself and all the citizens of Arden <br />Hills, hereby expresses it deep regret at the recent death of <br />Mr. Ashbach; and <br /> <br />BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED, that the Arden Hills city council <br />extends its sympathy to Mr. Ashbach's family in their loss. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Arden Hills city Council this 29th day of <br />October, 1990. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF JRDEN HILLS <br /> <br />By ~44 ttL <br /> <br />Thomas R.
