<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-48 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CLASS B GAMBLING LICENSE REQUEST <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Shoreview/Arden Hills Lions Club has requested permission for <br />a Class B gambling license to operate at the Big Ten Supper Club located <br />in Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills currently has a moratorium on the number <br />of gambling licenses allowed within the City limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the number of gambling licenses i~ currently at the maximum <br />number allowed, which is nine; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council does not wish to increase the number of gambling <br />licenses allowed in the City at the present time. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Arden Hills City Council, that the <br />request for a Class B gambling license by the ShoreviewfArden Hills Lions <br />Club to operate at the Big Ten Supper Club is hereby denied, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be sent to <br />the Charitable Gambling Control Board for their records. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 25th day of September, 1989. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br /> <br />"~u fijV <br /> <br />Thomas R.
