<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-44 A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR <br />DELINQUENT SEWER AND WATER ACCOUNTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the amount to be specially assessed for delinquent sewer <br />and water accounts has been duly calculated in accordance with the <br />provisions of the City Code and Minnesota Statutes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notices have been duly mailed and published, as required <br />by law, that the Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all <br />objections, if any, to the amounts to be specially assessed, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said proposed assessments have at all times since their <br />filing been open for public inspection, and an opportunity has been given <br />to all interested persons to present objections, if any, to the proposed <br />assessments, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there were no oral or written objections presented at <br />the public hearing on September 25, 1989. <br /> <br />1. The amounts so calculated and set forth in said notices are <br />hereby levied against the respective parcels of land described therein; <br />and <br /> <br />2. The proposed assessments are hereby adopted and confirmed as <br />special assessments for each of said parcels of land and the assessments <br />together with an additional penalty of eight percent (8%) of the original <br />unpaid amount, inclusive of any previous delinqueney penalty, shall be a <br />lien concurrent with general taxes upon such parcel. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk Administrator be <br />authorized and direeted to transmit to the County Auditor a certified <br />duplicate of the assessment roll to be extended upon the proper tax lists <br />of the County, and the County Auditor shall collect said special <br />assessments with taxes levied in 1989, payable in 1990. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 25th day of <br />September, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />By <br />Thoma R.
