<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-32 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PAVING <br />HAZELNUT PARK BIKE PATH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for proposed paving of <br />Hazelnut Park Bike Path, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and the following bids were received complying with said <br />advertisement: <br /> <br />Ace Blacktop <br />Bituminous Consulting & Contracting <br />W.B. Miller <br />Valley Paving <br /> <br />TOTAL BID <br /> <br />$19,506.00 <br />20,267.95 <br />21,381.25 <br />22,816.25 <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer's estimate was: $20,825, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City Engineer has noted that Ace B1aektop, of Inver, <br />Grove Heights, be declared the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Arden Hills, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the bids for the project are hereby received and aceepted. <br /> <br />2. That Ace Blacktop <br />responsible bidder. <br /> <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />3. That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and deliver any and all contracts and documents <br />necessary to consummate the bid award for the above described <br />improvement to Ace Blacktop of Inver Grove Heights. <br /> <br />4. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return to <br />all bidders the bid bonds submitted with their bids, except that the <br />bid bond of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be <br />retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills this 30th day of <br />May, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTES <br /> <br />. ~8 <br /> <br />Gary R. erger, Ci y Administrator <br />
