<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-24 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR STORM SEWER <br />UTILITIES TO SERVE 1680 OAK AVENUE AND ADJACENT AREAS <br />(IMPROVEMENT NO. ST 89-02) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for proposed storm sewer <br />utilities to serve 1680 Oak Avenue and adjaeent areas, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated aeeording to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with said advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. <br />Ro-So Contracting, Inc. <br />Meyer Contracting <br />B & D Underground, Inc. <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />o & P Contracting, Inc. <br />Ashbach Construction Company <br /> <br />TOTAL BID <br />$14,060.00 <br />11,715.00 <br />11,951.00 <br />14,692.00 <br />12,411.50 <br />12,415.00 <br />16,800.50 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer's estimate was: $13,150; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has noted that Ro-So Contracting Inc., of <br />Centervi11e. MN be declared the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Arden Hills, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the bids for the project are hereby received and accepted. <br /> <br />2. That Ro-So Contracting, Inc.. is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br /> <br />3. That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and deliver any and all contracts and documents <br />necessary to consummate the bid award for the above described <br />improvement to Ro-So Contracting, Inc., of Centervi11e, MN. <br /> <br />4. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return to <br />all bidders the bid bonds submitted with their bids, except that the <br />bid bond of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be <br />retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills this 2t'~ day of <br />May, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Gar~e~ger~dministrator <br /> <br />
