<br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />88 - 35 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS AND FINDINGS OF THE TRUNK <br />HIGHWAY 96 TASK FORCE STUDY REPORT AND ENCOURAGING POLITICAL LEADERS <br />AND THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO SUPPORT AND EXPEDITE <br />THE RECONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 96 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Trunk Highway 96 serves as major transportation route <br />within the City of Arden Hills and the north suburban area of Ramsey <br />CountYt and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Trunk Highway 96 is in need of a major upgrade to a <br />higher design standard in order to meet the existing and future <br />transportation needs of the areaJ and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills has participated in a task force <br />of representatives from local, county and state units of government which <br />has identified existing deficiencies and future needs for improvements to <br />Trunk Highway 96, and; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Arden Hills supports the findings and recommendations of the Trunk <br />Highwav 96 Task Force Study Report and encourages local, county and state <br />political leaders work with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to <br />pursue funding sources so as to expedite the reconstruction and <br />improvement to Trunk Highway 96. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Arden Hills Council this <br />of O~ .1988. <br /> <br />PI '1-fh day <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />,I .1/1 ~/i<;:;;7Z/ /-.<,..~,? <br />~ _::~<-" ,J' '~'''''P_':-~--::::-ot ____" <br />Mayor Robert L.
