(/ <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-67 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SETTING A MORATORIUM ON ADDITIONAL CHARITABLE GAMBLING <br />LICENSES AND AUTHORIZING THE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO REJECT APPLICATIONS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council has determined that an <br />Ordinance should be considered setting standards for any charitable <br />gambling conducted within the City of Arden Hills, and has instructed the <br />City Attorney to draft such an Ordinance; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, nine (9) charitable gambling licenses have been <br />issued and the Council desires to issue no more; and, <br /> <br />appropriate <br />Ordinance is <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has further determined that it is not <br />to consider any additional applications until such time as an <br />adopted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, that, commencing this date, there shall be nine (9) <br />charitable gambling licenses, and that there shall be a moratorium on the <br />issuance of any additional charitable gambling licenses until such time as <br />an Ordinance has been approved and adopted by the Arden Hills City <br />Council; andt <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk Administrator is <br />hereby authorized, on behalf of the Council, to reject any and all <br />charitable gambling license applications until such time that a Charitable <br />Gambling Ordinance is approved and adopted by the Council, and is directed <br />to provide the Charitable Gambling Board with a certified copy of this <br />Resolution, and to advise the Board of its prospective rejection of any <br />further Charitable Gambling License applications until this Resolution is <br />revoked. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 26th day of <br />October, 1987. <br /> <br /> <br />"'-_-L~~ <br />, Acting Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br /> <br />Patricia J.
