<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-57 <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR RE-HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />OF IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-85-2 (EDGEWATER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on July 27, 1987, the <br />Clerk Administrator, with the Consulting Engineer, was directed to prepare a <br />proposed assessment of the cost of improving the east 1230 feet of the SE 1/4 <br />of Section 21 T. 30 R. 23 situated in the County of Ramsey and City of Arden <br />Hills including installation of sanitary sewer and services, watermain and <br />services, storm sewer, street construction with curb and gutter, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk Administrator has notified the Council that such <br />proposed assessment has been completed and filed in her office for public <br />inspection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council held a hearing, after proper notification, on <br />August 31, 1987, and determined that apportionment of the assessments could be <br />amended as requested by Jerry McGuire, the major property owner affected by the <br />assessment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council determined it necessary, with this amendment <br />which increased costs to some of the benefited properties, to call for a <br />re-hearing on the proposed assessment of Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-85-2; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS, MN: <br /> <br />1. A re-hearing shall be held on the 28th day of September, 1987, in the City <br />Hall, at 7:30 p.m., to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time <br />and place all persons owning property affected and/or benefited by such <br />improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br />2. The Clerk Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing <br />on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper <br />at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and she shall state in the notice <br />the total cost of the improvement. She shall also cause mailed notice to <br />be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not <br />less than two weeks prior to the hearings, indicating assessment against <br />the respective parcel. <br />
