<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-18 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING <br />VARIOUS BUDGETARY, FINANCIAL, PROPERTY, AND PERSONNEL <br />TO THE ARDEN HILLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota adopted Resolution No. 96- <br />08, Enabling the Establishment of an Economic Development Authority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.094, Subd. 2, allows the City to transfer the <br />control, authority, and operation of any project as defined in Section 469.174, Subd. 8, or any <br />other program or project authorized by Sections 469.001 to 469.047 or 469.124 to 469.134 <br />located within the City, from the government agency that established the project to the Economic <br />Development Authority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is operating Development District No. I and Tax Increment Financing <br />Districts Nos. 1,2 and 3 within the Development Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed a desire to transfer to the Economic Development <br />Authority all activities, programs, operations, and control of budgeting, financing, property <br />ownership, and personnel related to the economic development activities taking place within <br />these districts. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />The City transfers all activities, programs, operations, and control of budgeting, <br />financing, property ownership, and personnel related to the economic development <br />activities taking place within Development District No. I and Tax Increment Financing <br />Districts Nos. 1,2 and 3.
