<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"' <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />Keirn <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MODIFYING DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1 <br />AND ADOPTING THE MODIFICATION <br />TO THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM THEREFOR; AND <br />MODIFYING TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS NO'S. 1,2 AND 3 <br />WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1 <br />AND ADOPTING RELATED MODIFICATIONS TO THE <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS THEREFOR <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota <br />(the "City"), as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recitals. <br /> <br />1.01 The City has heretofore established Development District No.1, and adopted the <br />Development Program therefor and established Tax Increment Financing Districts <br />No's. 1,2 and 3 and adopted the Tax Increment Financing Plans therefor. There <br />is a proposal to allow for the spending of additional tax increments generated <br />from Tax Increment Financing Districts No's. 1,2 and 3 for other housing and <br />redevelopment related projects in Development District No.1, and to expand the <br />boundaries of Development District No.1, <br /> <br />1.02 The Council has investigated the facts and has caused to be prepared a <br />Modification to the Development Program for Development District No.1; and <br />the Modifications to the Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax Increment <br />Financing Districts No's, 1,2 and 3; (collectively, the "Modifications") all <br />pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469,124 to <br />469.132, and 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended (the "Acts"); and <br /> <br />1.03 The City has performed all actions required by law to be performed prior to the <br />adoption and approval of the proposed Modifications, including, but not limited <br />to, notification of Ramsey County and School District No. 621 having taxing <br />jurisdiction over the property in Tax Increment Financing Districts No's. 1,2 and <br />3, a review of and written comment on the Modifications by the City Planning <br />Commission, and the holding of a public hearing upon published notice as <br />required by law. <br /> <br />i tC.r <br />IJCI' ;;:, ' <br />, 'r:' <br />" <br />I," '<' <br />1, <br />
