<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-33 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING IN THE MATTER OF <br />GA TEW A Y BUSINESS DISTRICT (GBD) IMPROVEMENTS <br />FOURTEENTHSTREETNE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-20, adopted by the City Council on Apri114, 1997, ordered a <br />Feasibility Report to be prepared for various street and utility improvements related to the <br />Gateway Business District (GBD); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report has been prepared by Howard R. Green CompanylMSA Consulting <br />Engineers with reference to the improvement of Fourteenth Street east of West Round Lake <br />Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-29, adopted by the City Council on May 27,1997, accepted the <br />Feasibility Report and ordered plans and specifications to be prepared for said proposed <br />improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the developer has petitioned for the improvements to Fourteenth Street NE. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with <br />the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an estimated <br />total cost of the improvement of$I,195,280. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on the 28th day of July, <br />1997, in the Council Chambers of the New Brighton City Hall, 803 Fifth Avenue <br />NW, New Brighton, MN, at 7:30 p.m. <br />
