<br />.._-~-.,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-38 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT, <br />AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS IN THE MATTER OF THE <br />GA TEW A Y BUSINESS DISTRICT (GBD) IMPROVEMENTS <br />FOURTEENTH STREET NE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 30, 1997, the Project <br />Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Fourteenth Street east of <br />West Round Lake Road, including water, sanitary sewer, stormsewer, and street construction, <br />and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council, adopted the 30th day of June, 1997, fixed a date <br />for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Fourteenth Street NE east of West Round <br />Lake Road, including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten (10) days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 28th day of July, 1997, at which all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1, Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br />feasibility report. <br /> <br />2. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />3. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution <br />adopted June 30,1997, and pursuant to a petition of35% of the affected property <br />owners. <br /> <br />4. Howard R. GreenlMSA, Consulting Engineers, was hereby designated as the <br />engineer for this improvement and has prepared detailed plans and specifications <br />for making of such improvement. <br /> <br />( \)' <br />') , <br />
