<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a recent United States Census found that approximately 6,000 persons over the age <br />of 18 in the communities of the Mounds View School District do not have a high school <br />diploma; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a continuing need for literacy, adult basic education, and English as a <br />second language courses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is important for the community to know that such programs are available through <br />the Adult Basic Education program ofthe Mounds View School District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Literacy Action Council of the District 621 Adult Basic Education program <br />will host an open house "Celebration of Literacy" for the public on Saturday, November I, 1997 <br />at the Ralph R.
