<br />" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-54 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC <br />HEARING IN THE MATTER OF THE 1998 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted August 11, 1997, a Feasibility Report <br />has been prepared by Howard R. Green, Consulting Engineers with reference to the improvement <br />of various streets within the City of Arden Hills, and this report was received by the Council on <br />September 8, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West Round Lake Road has been eliminated from the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, informational meetings have been scheduled to gather public input regarding the <br />improvement on the l7th of November; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report shall be amended to include public comment prior to a <br />formal Public Hearing, scheduled for the 8th of December of 1997. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report <br />and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minuesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost ofthe improvement <br />of$1,302,555. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8th day of <br />December of 1997 in the Council chambers of the City of New Brighton City Hall at 7:30 <br />p.m. and the Clcrk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />I <br />Co ' <br />
