<br />RESOLUTION 96 - 20 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE <br />BIKE TRAIL IMPROVEMENT OF 1996 <br /> <br />WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution 96-14, competitive bids were solicited and received for the <br />1996 Bike Trail improvement as set forth in the bid tabulation attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council has considered the amount of the bids and the responsibility of the <br />bidders and determined that Thor Construction, Inc., is the lowest responsible <br />bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the <br />City, such contract with Thor Construction, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney for <br />the completion of Alternate A of the 1996 Bike Trail improvement according to the <br />approved plans and specifications designated in Resolution 96-14. <br /> <br />2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City, such <br />contract with Thor Construction, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney for the <br />completion of Alternates Band C of the 1996 Bike Trail improvement pending the <br />approval of grants applied for by the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />3.
