<br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE GRANT FROM THE <br />MINNESOTA DNR COOPERATIVE TRAILS GRANT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Resolution #95-25 City Staff has applied for the Cooperative <br />Trails Grant Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Resolution #96-17 the City Administrator has been'identified <br />as the fiscal agent; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota DNR has notified the City of Arden Hills that we are eligible to <br />receive a grant in the amount of $45, 191.50 to partially fund the trail segment <br />from Trunk Highway 96 South to Briarknoll Drive and west to North snelling <br />A venue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project can be completed within a two year time frame, including the <br />segments which have been bid out in 1996, and the final segment which would be <br />bid and completed by November I, 1997, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota that the <br />City Council accepts $45,191.50 from the Minnesota DNR for the development of the above <br />specified trail segment in Arden Hills. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />ON THIS 24TH DAY OF JUNE, 1996. <br /> <br />F ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />
