<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 58 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TERMINATION OF GAS MAIN LICENSE <br />TWIN CITIES ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the United States of America laid an underground, twelve-inch gas main upon and <br />across certain City streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such installation was made pursuant to permission of the Village of New Brighton <br />in 1941; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon incorporation and later annexations, the City of Arden Hills is one of the <br />successors in interest of these licenses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department ofthe Army (United States of America) has determined that it <br />intends to abandon these pipelines; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of the Army (United States of America) removed a portion of this <br />pipeline and has filled the remainder with grout to prevent any possible future problems <br />associated with the physical deterioration of the pipeline. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, that the City agrees with the abandonment and termination of <br />the government's real estate interest. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCI F THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 15TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />B AN FRITS INGER, ITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />
