<br />""""'!IIIII'. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-11 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR A <br />RAMSEY COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />(CDBG) BY NORTHWEST YOUTH AND F AMIL Y SERVICES (NYFS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, NYFS has provided essential developmental services for the youth and families of <br />Arden Hills since 1976; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, NYFS is finding more and more people in need of financial assistance in order to <br />make use ofNYFS' mental health programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the unique partnership between NYFS and its ten Ramsey County member cities <br />has resulted in the ability to provide an essential community service that none of <br />the cities could provide individually; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, NYFS is in need of capital funding assistance in purchasing a permanent facility <br />in which to house these essential community services and also is in need of <br />. operating funds for the Counseling Center. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Arden Hills <br />enthusiastically supports the award ofa 1995 CDBG to NYFS. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY C <br />THIS 30TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />E CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ /f-. ~ <br />TERRANCE R.
