<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-12 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS FUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Army is actively undertaking the legal process to declare the Twin City Army <br />Ammunition Plant as excess; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has been directed by Congressman Vento to complete a <br />reuse plan within one year for the reuse ofthe Twin City Army Ammunition <br />Plant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Congressman has also created a reuse committee to assist in the preparation of <br />the plan but has appropriated no funds to assist this committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills intends to have a Planning Consultant to assist the city in <br />the preparation of the reuse plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has not yet incurred any significant costs or has not <br />entered into any written agreements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has the legal authority to apply for financial assistance and <br />has the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure the appropriate <br />use of these funds, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Administrator, is hereby authorized <br />to submit an application for Community Development Block Grant Funds from Ramsey County. <br /> <br />D <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY CO <br />THIS 30TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1995. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ISTRATOR <br /> <br />BRIAN FRITSINGER, CITY A <br />
