<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-33 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING A REALLOCATION OF RAMSEY COUNTY CDBG <br />FUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the process for distribution ofCDSG funds was changed for 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this change has promise for a more equitable and accountable method of <br />distribution in the future, but further review of the process highlights the needs for some <br />modifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this year's process has put our desire to meet the housing needs of low to moderate <br />income constituents in competition with the social service needs of these same constituents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, we believe this violates the intent of the stated CDBG priorities and we believe the <br />following request to be within the intent of those priorities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED that the City Council of the City of Arden Hills <br />requests that the Ramsey County Soard of Commissioners act to reallocate $100,000 of CDBG <br />. funds to apply toward the capital request of Northwest Youth & Family Services and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $50,000 of the contingency amount set aside by Ramsey <br />County CDBG be applied in a like manner. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY C~ TBE CITY OF ARDEN!IILL.S <br />THIS 8TH DATE OF MAY, 1995. .-- <br /> <br />( ,1 <br />DENNIS P.
