<br />- <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />~ ", <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-80 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SPONSORING A COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION TO ACCOMMODATE THE <br />CONSOLIDATION AND EXPANSION OF CPI GUIDANT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills act as the legal sponsor for project(s) contained <br />in the Business and Community Development Application to be submitted in December of 1995 <br />and that the City Administrator is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Trade and <br />Economic Development for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Arden Hills; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has the legal authority to apply <br />forfinRncial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure <br />adequate construction, operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed project for its <br />design life; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has not incurred any costs, has not <br />entered into any written agreements to purchase property; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has not violated any Federal, <br />State, and local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict or interest <br />or other unlawful or corrupt practice; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon approval of its application by the state, the City of <br />Arden Hills may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above-reference <br />project(s), and that the City of Arden Hills certifies that it will comply with the applicable laws <br />and regulations as stated in all contract agreements and described on the Compliances Section <br />(FP-20) of Business and Community Development Application; <br /> <br />AS APPLICABLE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has obtained <br />credit reports and credit information from cpr Guidant and their owners upon review by the City <br />of Arden Hills and receiving from Peterson, Fram, and Bergman, no adverse findings or concerns <br />regarding, but not limited to, tax liens, judgements, court actions, and filings with state, federal <br />and other regulatory agencies were identified. Failure to disclose any such adverse information <br />could result in revocation or other legal action. <br />
