<br />-f <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUl'ION NO. 94-33 <br /> <br />A RESOLUl'ION ACCEPTIN3 BID AND AI7I'HORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CClNTRACl' IN THE Ml\TI'ER OF THE <br />1994 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENl' PROJECl' <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution 94-24, competitive bids were solicited and <br />received for the 1994 Pavement Managerrent IllJ?rovement as set forth <br />in the bid tabulation attached thereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council has CG1Sidered the arrount of the bids and the <br />responsibility of the bidders and determined that Ashbach <br />Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the following list of contractors and their bids were received by <br />the City of Arden Hills on April 5, 1994: <br /> <br />Ashbach Construction, Inc. <br />8.M.H. Asphalt, Inc. <br />Tower Asphalt, Inc. <br />T. A. Schifsky & Sons <br />W. B. Miller, Inc. <br />Master Asphalt, Inc. <br />Valley Paving, Inc. <br />Midwest Asphalt, Inc. <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br /> <br />$331,521. 30 <br />$340,716.50 <br />$346,038.00 <br />$346,743.85 <br />$349,445.50 <br />$353,660.75 <br />$359,293.40 <br />$362,880.75 <br />$369,172.25 <br /> <br />NCM", THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1 . The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to execute <br />on behalf of the City within 30 days, such contract with Ashbach <br />Construction, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney for the <br />completion of the 1994 Pavement Management IllJ?rovement according to the <br />approved plans and specifications designated in Resolution 94-24. <br /> <br />2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to forthwith rebrrn to <br />all bidders the deposits made with their bids upon execution of the <br />contract aI:x:we specified. <br />
