<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-50 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR MUNICIPAL CONCURRENCE OF COUNTY STATE AID <br />HIGHWAY SYSTEM DESIGNATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Ramsey County have entered <br />into a Memorandum of Understanding which provides for the consolidation of <br />roadway jurisdictions in Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding includes a consolidation plan, prepared in <br />conjunction with municipalities of Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the consolidation plan provides for the tumback of State Trunk Highway 96 from <br />State Trunk Highway 61 to Old State Trunk Highway 8 to Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County intends to accept the jurisdictional change on December 1, 1994, <br />and will place the 8.45 mile segment on the County State Aid Highway System; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: concurs with the establishment and designation of the tumback segment of State <br />Trunk Highway 96 from State Trunk Highway 61 to Old State Trunk Highway 8 as County State <br />Aid Highway (CASH) in Ramsey County under provisions of Minnesota Law, subject to the <br />approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward two (2) certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation ofthe <br />State of Minnesota, and upon his approval of the designation of the said roadway or portion <br />thereof, that the same be constructed, improved, and maintained as County State Aid Highway in <br />Ramsey County, to be numbered and known as County State Highway 96. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNtIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 10th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1994. ./} <br />/; .~ ,// <br />"/'.' l/ / <br /> <br />../ ". .ieIt/41,Jidlfi <br />DENNIS P PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: ;J <br />.J .' j <br />ff;Mf}t((J It 1:(, 7 <br />.
