<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-55 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION AMONG THE <br />CONTRACT CITIES FROM THE BENEFITS RECEIVED FROM LJVFD <br />ADDITIONAL REVENUES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has entered into a long tenn Agreement for fire protection <br />services with Lake Johanna Fire Department from July 31, 1987 until December <br />31, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, when such agreement was drafted it was not contemplated that the Department <br />would obtain revenues for fire protection services beyond those obtained from the <br />contract cities of Arden Hills, North Oaks and Shoreview; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, commencing in 1993, the Department has been awarded an annual renewable fire <br />protection services contract with AlliantTech Systems, Inc. and is currently <br />generating revenues from this contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department is presently planning to utilize a significant portion of the Alliant <br />contract revenues to assist in the capital funding of the reconstruction of Station <br />No.2 in North Oaks; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: that, in spite of the absence of specific Agreement language, the Lake Johanna <br />Volunteer Fire Department distribute the financial benefits of additional fire protection revenues <br />among the contract cities of Arden Hills, North Oaks and Shoreview on an equitable basis. <br /> <br />D <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY CO <br />THIS 31ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1994. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~;[Qw <br /> <br />TERRANCE R.
