<br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-07b <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF WEST ROUND LAKE <br />ROAD, PHASE I. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of West Round Lake <br />Road, Phase 1, in the City of Arden Hills, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to <br />law, and the attached bids were received complying with the advertisement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder at <br />$720,560.05 for the base project, plus $42,165 for the landscaping alternate (B) and $32,000 for <br />the removal of dirt alternate (A), wbich reflects a total bid of $794,725.05. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Mayor and City Administrator are hearby authorized and directed to enter <br />into contract with Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., as is approved by the City <br />Attorney for the completion of the improvement of West Round Lake Road, Phase <br />I, according to the approved plans and specifications designated by City <br />Resolution. <br /> <br />2.
