<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-23 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR ARDEN MANOR PARK IMPROVEMENTS AND <br />1999 SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT UTILITY DITCH CLEANING PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to authorization by the City Council on June 28, 1999, the City Engineer <br />(BRW) has prepared plans and specifications for improvements to Arden Manor Park, including <br />drainage, soil improvements, site preparation, and access road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has provided the City such plans and specifications for review; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has reviewed and found acceptable those plans and specifications; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Drainage Report, prepared by the City Engineer, identified a McClung Drive <br />ditch-cleaning project as a 1999 Surface Water Management Utility maintenance activity. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, that: <br /> <br />The City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans <br />and specification. <br /> <br />The advertisement shall be published once each week for a period of two weeks, shall <br />specify the work to be done, and shall state that bids will be received by the City <br />Administrator until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 1999, at which time the bids <br />will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Arden Hills City Hall. <br /> <br />Bids will then be tabulated for consideration by the City Council at a meeting there of at <br />7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 1999, at tbe Arden Hills City Hall.
