<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-36 <br /> <br />P AGE TWO <br /> <br />OCTOBER 12, 1999 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, those negotiated affordable and life cycle housing goals are as follows: <br /> <br />Housing Component Goal <br />Affordability - Ownership 65% <br />Affordability - Rental 35% <br />Life-Cycle - Type (non-single family detached) 27 - 36% <br />Life-Cycle - Owner/Renter mix 75 - 83/17% to 25% <br />Density - Single family detached 1.8 to 2.3 units/acre <br />Density - Multi-family 9 - 12 units/acre <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for calendar year 2000, a metropolitan area municipality that participated in the <br />Locallnccntive Account Program during the calendar year 1999, can continue to participate <br />under Minnesota Statutes 473,254 if: <br /> <br />a) the municipality elects to participatc in the Local Housing Incentives Account <br />Program by November 15, 1999; and <br />b) the Metropolitan Council and the municipality have successfully negotiated <br />affordable and life cycle housing goals for the municipality. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota that the City elects to continue participation in the Local Housing Incentives Program <br />under thc Metropolitan Livable Communities Act during the calendar year 2000, <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 12th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~;Z~ <br /> <br />TERRANCE R.
