<br />~ <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />\,{ <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-37 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION <br />FOR LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is a participant in the Livablc Communities Act's Housing <br />Incentives Program for 1998 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and is therefore eligible <br />to make application for funds under the Livable Communities Demonstration Account; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is a member in good standing with the North Metro I-35W Corridor <br />Coalition, a Minnesota joint power organization under Minnesota Statutes, 1994, Section 471,59; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Coalition have identified a proposed project within the Coalition <br />geographic area that meets the Demonstration Account's purpose/s and criteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City concurrently certifies with other Coalition members that they will comply <br />with the applicable laws and regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota agrees to act as co-legal sponsor with <br />othcr Coalition members for the project for the project contained in the Demonstration Account <br />application submitted on September 31, 1999; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota that the City Administrator is hereby authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council <br />for the funding on behalf of the City of Arden Hills, and to jointly execute with other Coalition <br />members such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the City and <br />Coalition as joint applicants. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS l2'h DAY OF OCTOBER, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~A~ <br /> <br />TERRANCE R.
