<br />.. .. ,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT E <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING APPLICATION <br />FOR LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of is a participant in the <br />Livable Communities Act's Housing Incentives Program for 1998 as determined by the <br />Metropolitan Council, and is therefore eligible to make application for funds under the <br />Livable Communities Demonstration Account; and <br /> <br />WHERES the City is a member in good standing with the NM I-35W Corridor <br />Coalition, a Minnesota joint power organization under Minnesota Statutes, 1994, Section <br />471.59 ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City and the Coalition have identified a proposed project within the <br />Coalition geographic area that meets the Demonstration Account's purpose/s and criteria; <br />and ' <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City and the Coalition have the institutional, managerial and financial <br />capability to ensure adequate project administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City concurrently certifies with other Coalition members that they will <br />comply with the applicable laws and regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council of ' Minnesota <br />agrees to act as co-legal sponsor with other Coalition members for the project for the <br />project contained in the Demonstration Account application submitted on September 31, <br />1999; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Managerl Administrator is hereby <br />authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for the funding on behalf of the City of <br />and to jointly execute with other Coalition members such <br />agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the City and Coalition <br />as joint applicants, <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Individual resolutions of city support will be forthcoming before the <br />October 15, 1999 deadline. <br />
