<br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-06 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING A TRAFFIC <br />STUDY FOR THE HIGHWAY 96IHIGHWAY 10 CORRIDOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota turned back Trunk Highway 96 to Ramsey County; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Task Force Committee formed by Ramsey County has determined that <br />Highway 96 be upgraded; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County will receive County State Aid Highway (CSAH) turnback <br />funds to assist in the upgrade of Highway 96; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County will seek Federal Funding as appropriate to assist in the <br />upgrade of Highway 96; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County and Minnesota Department of Transportation officials have <br />presented preliminary plans and options for the upgrade of Highway 96 to <br />the Arden Hills City Council at their November 10, 1997 Council Meeting <br />and December 15, 1997 Council W orksession; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council at the December 15, 1997 Worksession <br />directed staff to obtain a traffic study for the Highway 96lHighway 10 <br />Corridor. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota that the proposed Highway 96 upgrade be referred to BRW for the completion <br />of a Traffic Study and that BR W is instructed to report to the council with all convenient <br />speed advising the council the results of that study. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCI <br />HILLS THIS 5TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />ER, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />B <br />
