<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING A JOINT GRANT APPLICATION <br />FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD COMMONS PROJECT <br />UNDER THE METROPOLITAN LIVABLE COMMUNITIES ACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is a participant in the Metropolitan Livable Communities <br />Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is a participant in the North Metro I-35W Corridor <br />Coalition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has an interest in exploring ways to break the barriers of borders and <br />encourage neighborhoods to determine the redevelopment of common comers along the County <br />Road D corridor (Neighborhood Commons Project). The three corners would be County Road D <br />and Cleveland Avenue, County Road D and New Brighton RoadlLake Johanna Boulevard, and <br />County Road D and Lexington Avenue.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City requires financial and technical assistance to facilitate this exploration; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, that the City supports the joint grant application for the Neighborhood Commons <br />Project (County Road D Corridor) under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COU IL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 13TH DAY OF JULY, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />-~ <br /> <br />BRIAN FRITS IN ER, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />'..
