<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-58 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE GRANT FROM THE MINNESOTA <br />DNR COOPERATIVE TRAILS GRANT PROGRAM FOR TRAIL <br />CONSTRUCTION ALONG COUNTY ROAD F <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Resolution # 98-29 City staff applied for the Cooperative <br />Trails Grant Program sponsored by the Minnesota DNR; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the trail grant application is for the section oftrail along County Road F between <br />Hamline Avenue and Lexington Avenue. In addition, a trail section would be constructed north <br />along Hamline Avenue to connect with the City's existing trail; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator will be identified as the fiscal agent; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota DNR has notified the City of Arden Hills that the City is eligible <br />to receive a grant in the amount of$50,000, which is the maximum amount granted to a City, to <br />partially fund the trail segment along County Road F and south to the existing City trail; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has until April 15, 2000 to complete the project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota <br />that the City Council concurs with the trail development partially funded by the Cooperative <br />Trail Grant Program and names Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator, as the fiscal agent for the <br />proj ect. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T <br />THIS 14th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />
