<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, those negotiated affordable and life cycle housing goals are as follows: <br /> <br />Housing Component Goal <br />Affordability - Ownership 65 percent <br />Affordability - Rental 35 percent <br />Life-Cycle - Type (non-single family detached) 27 to 36 percent <br />Life-Cycle - Owner/Renter mix 75 to 83/17 to 25 percent <br />Density - Single family detached 1.8 to 2.3 units/acre <br />Density - Multifamily 9 to 12 units/acre <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for calendar year 1999, a metropolitan area municipality that participated in the <br />Local Incentive Account Program during the calendar year 1998, can continue to participate <br />under Minnesota Statutes 473.254 if: (a) the municipality elects to participate in the Local <br />Housing Incentives Account Program by November 15, 1998; and (b) the Metropolitan Council <br />and the municipality have successfLll1y negotiated affordable and life-cycle housing goals for the <br />municipality; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, that the City elects to continue to participate in the Local Housing Incentives <br />Program under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act during the calendar year of 1999. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNC OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 9TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />DENNI <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />
