<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-69 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />ESTABLISHING THE ARDEN HILLS, NORTH OAKS AND SHOREVIEW <br />FIRE PROTECTION BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the <br />City of Arden Hills to participate in a Joint Fire Protection Board with the Cities of North Oaks <br />and Shoreview, and the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of the proposed Joint Powers Agreement <br />and finds that the Agreement adequately addresses the concerns of the City of Arden Hills; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota, that the City Council hereby approves the Joint Powers Agreement with the Cities of <br />North Oaks and Shoreview, and the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, and authorizes the <br />Mayor and City Administrator to execute such Agreement on behalf of the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be attached to such <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL F THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 30th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />/// ,/"'/ /-/7 <br />'l~/ ~ <br />//~ ----........-:/,.-' / ' <br /> <br />BR~~i;;IN'G ; CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />td'h'iIA ,~i111~ <br />
