<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-78 <br /> <br />REVISING WATER UTILITY RATES <br />EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1999 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council established a policy to review water rates on an annual basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council last took action on its water utility rates in 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the utility cost structure and has recommended that the <br />Arden Hills City Council increase water utility rates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this review has determined that the rate increase is necessary to enable the utility to <br />remain self-supporting. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that, <br />effective January 1, 1999, water utility rates be revised as follows: <br /> <br />Service Description <br />Residential 5/8" or 3/4" minimum quarterly charge <br />Rate per I ,000 gallons of water <br />Winter <br />Summer <br /> <br />Current Rate <br />Per Ouarter <br />$21.95 <br /> <br />Revised Rate <br />Per Ouarter <br />$21.95 <br /> <br />2.09 <br />2.14 <br /> <br />2.15 <br />2.20 <br /> <br />The standby rates will not be increased. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 14th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1998. / <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />DRlMi~MINlSmATOR <br />
