<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-79 <br /> <br />REVISING SANITARY SEWER UTILITY RATES <br />EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1999 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council cstablished a policy to review sanitary sewer rates on an annual <br />basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council last took action on its sanitary sewer utility rates in 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed historical consumption data which reflects average senior <br />rate customer consumption at approximately two-thirds that of residential customers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the utility cost structure and has recommended that the <br />Arden Hills City Council decrease sewer utility rates except for senior quarterly flat charge; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this review has determined that the rate increase is necessary to enable the utility to <br />remain self-supporting. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that, <br />effective January I, 1999, water utility rates be revised as follows: <br /> <br />Sen>ice Description <br />Residential Flat quarterly charge <br /> <br />Current Rate <br />Per Ouarter <br />$53.95 <br /> <br />Revised Rate <br />Per Ouarter <br />$52.95 <br /> <br />Senior Citizen! <br />Totally Disabled Flat quarterly charge <br /> <br />26.95 <br /> <br />29.95 <br /> <br />Commercial Sewer per <br />1000 gallon consumption <br /> <br />2.79 <br /> <br />2.73 <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THIS 14'h DAY OF DECEMBER, 1998. <br /> <br />OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />ATms~ <br /> <br />BRIm F TSIN, ADMINISTRATOR <br />
