This is the first of three sessions to: <br /> <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br /> <br />Establish the vision/mission for the City, <br />Establish goals for the City for the year 2003, <br />Build/rebuild trust between and amongst staff and City Council, <br />Update staff and City Couneil. <br /> <br />All activities for Session I will occur at Arden Hills City Hall. Lunch will be provided. <br /> <br />Welcome and introductions will be presented by Mayor Aplikowski and City Administrator <br />Lyneh, followed by an introduction from the facilitator, Marilyn Condon. Ms. Condon will <br />explain the purpose of the meeting, establish the ground rules, and take the Couneil and <br />management staff through an exereise designed to encourage all parties to think about the past, <br />present, and future. After lunch Ms. Condon will continue by establishing a process to identify the <br />top priority issues for 2003, from a Council/management stand point. <br /> <br />The Council has recently indicated that they would like to have some items included on the Staff <br />Retreat agenda which includes: <br /> <br />. Neighborhood meetings; <br />. Ingerson Road Project, speeifieally Lake Josephine Association discussion/negotiation <br />. Ramsey County Public Work Facility; etc. <br /> <br />The agenda was established before the Council's discussion took place about their desire to have <br />some of these items addressed; therefore the agenda has not been modified. If these are the most <br />important items, they should be established as priority goals for 2003 during the discussion about <br />mission, vision and goals. <br />
